Students Have 7 Days to Pay

Students must pay fees within 7 days of registration or they will be dropped from one or more classes. To avoid being dropped, take one of the following steps:

1) Pay fees in full.                                                                                                                                            Fees may be paid online through the Self Service student portal or by calling the Support Center at (530) 895-2511.  Students who wish to pay by check can mail it to: Payment Center, Butte College, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville, CA 95965.

2) Show proof of sufficient eligibility for financial assistance.
Complete a FAFSA or provide proof of other financial assistance (scholarship, patron agreement, etc.) to the Butte College Business Office.
*Note: FAFSA's must be completed at least 72 hours prior to the drop deadline.

3) Create a fee payment plan online.
Students are responsible for making payment arrangements or providing verification of exemption status in a timely manner. Those who do not pay fees or make arrangements to pay fees will be dropped from one or more classes. Once you have registered you can view payment or exemption status in Self Service. You must log into your MyBC Portal and click on "Create a Payment Plan" using the Nelnet feature to create a fee payment plan online.  For more information about payment plans, click here.
