Butte College Glenn Center  Open for Fall Semester

The Butte College Glenn Center, 604 E. Walker Street, in Orland reopened beginning August 2 for new students and members of the public. Fall semester began August 23, and the Glenn Center fall hours were Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Fall semester classes at the Glenn Center included: Administration of Justice, Anatomy with lab, Biology, Business Communications, Business Technology, Child Development, Keyboarding, Public Speaking, and Lifespan Psychology. Child Growth and Development in Spanish was also available. In addition to regularly planned fall courses, the Business Computer Information Systems program began offering three new classes; Business Communications, Business Technology, and Beginning and Advanced Keyboarding. The Center continues to offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes free. Please contact the center for current classes and times.

“We were thrilled to be able to be open and help the public with any enrollment questions at the Glenn County Center,” said Kam Bull, Butte College Dean. “We’re always here to help the public get started with taking classes at Butte College.”

The Butte College Glenn Center offers a student lounge, food pantry, free Wi-Fi, textbook lending library, open computer lab with evening hours, and more. In person Student Services also resumed on August 2.

The new Butte College Glenn County Center in Orland, near Cortina Drive and Interstate 5, is currently under construction and is slated to open Fall 2022.
