On-Campus Partner Agencies
The Career Center hosts partner agencies to best serve Butte College students:- Alliance for Workforce Development (AFWD) for all eligible students
- Funding for tools, equipment, and uniforms for many career programs.
- Funding for interview clothing and work clothing
- California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) for students with a physical and/or mental impairment that impedes their ability to
secure employment
- Funding for tuition, books, supplies, transportation expenses, etc.
- Paid internships with accommodations
- Butte County CalWORKs for parents who receive or are eligible to receive CalWORKS cash aid
- Funding for childcare, books, transportation expenses, etc.
- County-related case management services, and MediCal and CalFresh assistance
